Project overview: Double arch dam, Its maximum height is 294.5m. It is the first 300 level double arch dam with the total generation capacity of 4.2million kilowatts. Its reservoir capacity stands at 14.9 billion cubic meters. It’s a symbolic project of national western development and the and the strategy of “ West- East electricity transmission project”

Construction period:The project was commenced in January 2002. Its first generation Unit was put into operation in September 25, 2009. The project was completed at the end of 2010.

Undertaken project:700m slope excavation, civil engineering of the dam, production and installation of metallic structure, production and transportation of concrete.
